Benin eVisa Processing Time and Application Timing

Benin gives a broad processing window rather than a guaranteed turnaround. The official FAQ says a request may take from one hour to 96 hours, while separately recommending that travellers apply at least seven days before entry.

The published processing range

Benin states that eVisa processing may take from one hour to 96 hours. This is a range, not a guaranteed service level for every applicant.

A case completed near the lower end does not mean another application will follow the same timetable.

Why Benin still says “apply seven days before”

The official FAQ separately recommends applying at least seven days before the intended entry date. That recommendation gives more travel-planning margin than the processing range alone.

It also leaves time to notice a data or payment problem without being at the airport.

There is an earliest application point too

Benin says an application cannot normally be submitted more than 90 days before the intended entry date.

The practical window is therefore no more than 90 days ahead and preferably at least seven days before arrival.
