Benin eVisa Validity: Dates, Duration and Entry Type
Benin lets applicants choose a 30-day or 90-day validity period. The start date is tied to the intended date of entry entered in the application, which makes date accuracy a practical visa requirement.
Validity begins with the date you enter
Benin’s FAQ says the start of eVisa validity is the intended entry date entered in the application.
That is why the arrival date should be taken from the actual itinerary, particularly when overnight travel changes the calendar date.
30 days and 90 days are validity choices
Applicants choose a 30-day or 90-day validity period. The 30-day option is published as either single or multiple entry; the 90-day option is published as multiple entry.
Validity and entry type answer different questions: how long the authorization runs and how many times it can be used to enter.
Do not assume an issued visa can be moved
Benin states that the automated eVisa cannot normally be modified after issue.
If travel dates materially change before submission, correct them first. If they change after issue, re-check what the authorization actually permits rather than guessing.
